The Sales finance report includes the values that you'll most likely need when doing your bookkeeping, such as net sales. Only Net sales with cost recorded are included in your Cost of goods sold report, and count toward your Gross profit. Together these add up to your total Net sales for the selected date range. Net sales with cost recorded shows net sales where cost was recorded at the time of the sale. In this section, Net sales without cost recorded shows net sales where cost wasn't recorded at the time of the sale. The Gross Profit section shows an overview of your net sales, costs, and profit. Tips shows the total value of tips received. Gift cards outstanding balance shows the total outstanding balance of gift cards that were sold or issued. In this section, Gift card sales shows the total sales of gift cards, which is the face value of sold gift cards minus any discounts that were applied at the time of the sale. You can reopen or refresh the report to show newer data. When you open a finance report, the data is up-to-date, give or take about 1 minute. Even worse, Schwab does not even support a QIF file download - the only option I could find is export to a CSV file and then import that file into SEE. This is a real problem for SEE users since the product seems to no longer be supported. They tried to claim that they have contacted 3rd party app developers but so far they have only confirmed to me that they did this for, of course, Quicken. Schwab confirmed that they have changed the technology underlying the downloading of transactions in order to eliminate some security vulnerabilities.
